D'Arcy's Pint

Owners Hallie Pierceall and Glenn Merriman opened D'Arcy's in 1998 and it didn't take long for D'Arcy's to become a favorite destination for good food and fun in Springfield. Within its cozy confines, customers enjoy Irish and American food, domestic beer, specialty ales and drinks, and the warm and friendly atmosphere. "We want people to feel comfortable here so they'll want to stay awhile, just like a corner pub in Ireland," said Hallie.

When the weather accommodates, our customers enjoy socializing in our outdoor beer garden, which seats 40 people. The décor also incorporates some Springfield history. For instance, in D'Arcy's west room you'll find a beautiful wood ice cream counter that was once part of the Sugar Bowl, 900 S. Grand West, from 1927 to 1959.

For tourists visiting places like the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library, your experience won't be complete without trying our famous horseshoes, a unique regional specialty made of your choice of meat served over Texas toast, piled high with fries and topped with homemade cheese sauce.

In 2011, D'Arcy's Pint began offering franchise opportunities to qualified individuals.

They'd probably give 'em two thumbs up, but it's hard to break those hands away from a plate piled gloriously high with all the fixings of the perfect horseshoe. Opened in 1998, D'Arcy's has become a Springfield treasure, tucked away on Springfield's south side on West Stanford Ave.
