Down by Nine

Hey and hello to you all....We, Down By Nine are a 4 piece band based out of central New Jersey in town called Matawan/Union Beach. We've been around for roughly a couple of years and played at such events as 2003 Skate and Surf Festival with Alkaline Trio, Reggie and The Full Effect, Brand New, and The Starting Line along with many others. We have been through some line up changes over the years going threw several different drummers and position switches and now we are finally set are ready to go. Bob, Chris, Rob, and Jon make up this band of hard and melodic rock with heartfelt lyrics, a catchy rythmn, flowing bass lines, and a unique drum style. Our musical influences range from Led Zepplin to Metallica To Blink 182 and Alkaline Trio. We recently recorded our 4 song E.P. called "Last Chance For Tragedy" at the Underground Sound Studios in South Amboy, New Jersey owned by Billy Graziadei and Danny Schuler of Biohazard, who also engineered and produced it. The E.P. will be out shortly and we been since working on prepping for shows and getting ready to spread the word of Down by Nine to everybody...... . Our site is now up at www.downbynine.net and sign the mailing list!!!!!!!
