Fretfire is a progressive rock/metal group that blends many styles of traditional music including but not limited to Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, and Metal blended into a rhythmic melting pot. With the use of odd time signatures, neoclassical style guitar leads, and intricate precise melody lines, Fretfire stands side by side with the best in the world of progressive rock/metal music. The musicians of Fretfire, all veterans in their own right, have been hand selected over a period of 7 years to insure the correct musicians for the correct sound. From multiranged melodic vocals and tastefully fast guitar and keyboard leads to intricate Bass and Drum patterns, Fretfire shines in the music world like a light in the Darkness. Individually Joe La Banco, Dark, Chuck Hamilton, Brian Kim, and Greg Peterlin, are displayed as masters of their main instruments. As a group, Fretfire brings to the world of rock music a sound disciplined in preciseness with a dark groove that can only be experienced.
