Lowlander

Lowlander is the result of a lovechild between the Misfits, The Ramones, Guns N Roses, Weezer, Green Day, and The Stooges. This truly different, unique, fresh band fuses the best parts of pop punk, rock, and alternative into a distinctive sound that challenges any label or category. The heart and soul of Lowlander is to write original music to introduce to the masses. We hope to continually gain the respect and interest from fans, peers, and other bands because we care about the people that listen to us! All three members are West Virginia natives with Scottish roots. The members being Jim Courtney as lead vocals/drums; Kris Boynes as lead guitar; and Sean Boynes on rhythm guitar, bass, and bagpipes. Currently, we are working on our first CD ("We Need To Talk") and hope to have it out by mid-summer.
