Page 9 is the result of true dedication. The fusion of influences and styles that bring Mr.’s Roa-Martinez, Naylor, Velazquez, and Folsom together are the very foundation on which their elaborate style of Mainstream Pop/Rock is set. What sets them apart from any other band is the fact that they go so bold as to perform music audiences would hear on the radio with a bit of Alternative flavor that the Dallas Music Scene is known for. The band has graced many stages in Dallas’ Deep Ellum Live music district such as Galaxy Club, Club Clearview, The Door, and Liquid Lounge, to name a few; And also in such prestigious places as the Hard Rock Café’. The group’s “Never leave a show behind” attitude is the basis that gives them such credit in not only the industry’s eyes, but audiences, as well. Their unique style comes from Lead Singer, Josh Roa-Martinez’s Mainstream Hooks, Bassist, Billy Naylor’s Bluegrass Fills, Drummer, Kris Velazquez’s Urban Beats, and Guitarist, Nick Folsom’s Emo-influenced Leads. Beyond the obvious love-affair with the music, the four deeply respect each other as well as each other’s musical abilities, with all these factors in mind, Page 9 remains to be a force to be reckoned with.
