Hoover

Hoover, a Birmingham suburb, has a bar scene built mostly around sports bars and casual chains - BarFinder lists 22 venues here, led by sports bars by a wide margin, with a handful of pubs and gastropubs rounding things out. Local spots like The Casual Pint of The Grove and Merk's Tavern & Kitchen cover the beer-focused side, while Blue's Bourbon & Brews adds a bit more of a cocktail and bourbon bar to an otherwise suburban, game-day-oriented scene.
