Downtown
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Downtown, Bakersfield
Downtown Bakersfield is the city's biggest concentration of nightlife by a wide margin - BarFinder lists 73 venues here, led by sports bars and classic bars but with a genuinely deep lounge and nightclub scene too, including Casablanca Night Club and Burra Bar. Cocktail bars and pubs fill in the rest, giving the area a scene that covers everything from a quiet afternoon beer to a late-night dance floor. Spots like Guthrie's Alley Cat and Campo Bar + Bottle anchor the more low-key end. It's the natural starting point for a night out in Bakersfield.
