Little Persia runs along Westwood Boulevard near UCLA, a commercial strip sometimes nicknamed "Tehrangeles" for its concentration of Persian-American restaurants, shops, and culture. BarFinder lists 15 venues in the area, a fairly even mix of bars, wine bars, and sports bars alongside a notable hookah lounge presence - Centerpiece Hookah Lounge is one of several here. Barney's Beanery, the long-running LA institution, also falls within the neighborhood's reach, along with Broxton Brewery & Public House near campus. It's a scene shaped as much by UCLA's student population as by the surrounding Persian-American community.
