Los Olivos is a tiny Santa Ynez Valley town built almost entirely around wine tasting - BarFinder lists 69 venues here, and wineries make up the overwhelming majority of them, including real local names like Firestone Vineyard and Zaca Mesa Winery. This is the same Santa Barbara County wine country made famous by the film Sideways, and Los Olivos's walkable main street of tasting rooms reflects that reputation directly. A night out here means moving between tasting rooms more than bar-hopping in the traditional sense.
