San Francisco

San Francisco's bar scene runs cocktail-forward - among the nearly 1,200 venues BarFinder lists here, plain bars lead, but cocktail bars and wine bars both show up in real numbers, well ahead of sports bars. "Happy Hour" and "Dinner" are among the most common tags on the city's venues, matching a scene that leans toward a considered drink after work over a loud night out.
