Wheat Ridge

Wheat Ridge, a Denver suburb once known as 'Carnation City' for its greenhouse-grown flowers, has a bar scene with a real craft-brewery lean - BarFinder lists 21 venues, with breweries the single largest category. Local spots like Mestizo Brew Cantina and Clancy's Irish Pub round out a scene that also includes a handful of gastropubs, giving it more variety than a typical small Denver suburb.
