West Ocala

West Ocala is a modest, working part of Ocala, Florida, a city in the state's horse country best known for thoroughbred breeding farms. BarFinder lists 8 venues here, split evenly between classic and sports bars - Starting Gate Lounge, 100 Proof Saloon, and Miller's Ale House are among the names on the list. It's a small handful of genuine neighborhood spots rather than a bar-hopping destination.
