The Villages

The Villages is one of the country's largest and best-known retirement communities, and its golf-cart-centric social scene carries over into its bars - BarFinder lists 22 venues here, split fairly evenly between classic bars and sports bars, with a few pubs and beer bars in the mix. Local spots like the Pool Bar at Nancy Lopez Country Club and the various Bar Huts scattered around Brownwood reflect a scene built around the community's many recreation centers and town squares. It's nightlife built for daytime happy hours and live-music town squares as much as a late-night crowd.
