Cedar Rapids
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Cedar Rapids is Iowa's second-largest city, and its bar scene shows it - BarFinder lists 135 venues here, led by a large cluster of sports bars and classic bars, with a real pub and dive-bar presence too. The city's NewBo (New Bohemia) district, built on its historic Czech and Slovak immigrant neighborhood, has become one of its more walkable bar-and-restaurant areas in recent years, alongside neighborhood staples like Mahoney's Pub and Shawn Ryan's Irish Pub. From Irish pubs to dive bars, Cedar Rapids' scene covers a lot of ground for a mid-size city.
