Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Westown, West Des Moines
Westown sits in West Des Moines, a fast-growing Des Moines suburb that's built up a genuinely substantial entertainment scene of its own. BarFinder lists 71 venues here, led by sports bars and classic bars with a strong cocktail bar and pub showing too - Blue Shark Ale House and Winchester Public House fit a scene with real variety. Cannon Vineyard and Draught House 50 round out a lineup that rivals much of what's found in Des Moines proper. A strong option for Iowa capital-area nightlife without heading downtown.
