River District

River District runs along Rockford, Illinois's Rock River, and its bar scene is nearly evenly split between classic bars and sports bars - BarFinder lists 35 venues here, including The Top Rooftop Bar & Lounge, which leans into the riverfront setting. A few nightclubs and lounges add some late-night variety to a scene built around the river that gives the district its name.
