Gretna

Gretna, on the West Bank across the river from New Orleans, has a bar scene that leans into the region's drive-thru daiquiri culture - BarFinder lists 45 venues, led by classic bars, with a real lounge and cocktail bar presence. Real local spots like New Orleans Original Daquiris and Daiquiri Place reflect that distinctly Louisiana tradition, while 403 Bar & Lounge and Callahan's cover more classic territory. It's a scene with real New Orleans-area character, just across the river from the city itself.
