Lafayette

Lafayette, the unofficial capital of Cajun Country, has a bar scene that reflects south Louisiana's distinctive drinking culture - BarFinder lists 130 venues here, led by sports bars and classic bars, with a real presence of cocktail bars, nightclubs, and lounges behind them. The region's famous drive-thru daiquiri shops and zydeco-and-Cajun dance hall tradition run through spots like Frozen Sun Daiquiris and Broken Moon Saloon, while local favorites like Fat Pat's Bar and Grill and The Wurst Biergarten round out a scene built around both Cajun heritage and modern nightlife. It's a city where a night out is as likely to involve a dance floor as a bar stool.
