Westfield
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Westfield, Massachusetts
Westfield earned the nickname 'Whip City' in the 19th century for its dominance of the American buggy-whip manufacturing industry - at its peak the city made most of the whips used in the country. BarFinder lists 26 venues today, led by sports bars, with a real brewery and pub presence including local names like Kismet Brewing Company and Bright Ideas Brewing Westfield. Spots like Hutghi's at The Nook and Hangar Pub & Grill round out a solid small-city New England bar scene.
