Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Bethesda, Maryland
Tonight in Bethesda: events & happy hours →Bethesda's bar scene is concentrated in the Woodmont Triangle and Bethesda Row area just outside DC, where BarFinder lists 35 venues split fairly evenly between classic bars, sports bars, and a mix of pubs and wine bars. Longtime neighborhood fixtures like The Barking Dog share the strip with multi-level spots like Tommy Joe's, which pairs a big sports-bar main floor with a rooftop tiki bar. It's a dinner-and-drinks district more than a late-night one, with most of the area's restaurants and bars staying lively well into the evening.
