Muskegon

Muskegon, a Lake Michigan lakeshore city with deep roots in the 19th-century lumber industry, has a bar scene to match its size - BarFinder lists 70 venues, led by sports bars and classic bars, with a real brewery and distillery presence behind them. Local spots like Hobo's Tavern and the Sandbar lean into the waterfront setting, while Liquid Assets Cocktail & Wine Bar adds a dressier option downtown. It's a scene that spans classic dive bars to a growing craft-drinks side.
