Uptown
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Uptown, Charlotte
Uptown is Charlotte, North Carolina's downtown core - the city's financial and skyline district, and home by far to the densest concentration of bars in this batch. BarFinder lists 134 venues here, led by classic bars, sports bars, and a genuinely strong cocktail bar scene, with pubs and gastropubs like Alexander Michael's and Mez rounding things out. It's less a single strip than a true downtown bar district, built around office crowds, event nights at the nearby arenas, and a dense cluster of rooftop and hotel bars.
