Southern Pines
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Southern Pines, North Carolina
Southern Pines, part of North Carolina's Pinehurst Sandhills golf and equestrian region, has a bar scene that leans a bit more upscale than many towns its size - BarFinder lists 26 venues, led by classic bars and sports bars, with a real wine bar and cocktail bar presence alongside them. Local spots like O'Donnell's Pub and Hatchet Brewing Company sit alongside the Wine Cellar and Tasting Room. It's a scene that reflects the area's reputation as a golf and country-club destination as much as a classic small-town bar lineup.
