Williston
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Williston, North Dakota
Williston, at the heart of North Dakota's Bakken oil shale region, saw its bar scene expand fast during the fracking boom of the 2010s as the town's population surged - BarFinder lists 21 venues here today, led by classic bars and sports bars. Local spots like Williston Brewing Company and Cattails Lounge give the scene a modern edge, while 4 Mile Bar and McCoy's Bar & Grill keep a more traditional North Dakota tavern feel. It's a scene still shaped by that boomtown energy, even as growth has leveled off.
