Amherst
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Amherst, New York
Amherst is one of Buffalo's largest suburbs, and its bar scene reflects that - BarFinder lists 22 venues here, led by sports bars and pubs with a smaller presence of classic bars and gastropubs. It's less about a single historic district and more about neighborhood standbys spread across the town, from pub-style spots like Santora's Pizza Pub & Grill to sports-bar fixtures like Average Joe's. For a quieter, more residential take on Buffalo-area nightlife than the city itself, Amherst's bars lean toward the familiar and reliable rather than the destination-worthy.
