BoCoCa is local shorthand for the trio of brownstone neighborhoods it borrows letters from - Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Carroll Gardens - a historically Italian and increasingly upscale corner of brownstone Brooklyn. BarFinder lists 75 venues across the area, led by classic bars with a deep cocktail bar and wine bar presence, including Bar Tabac and Wine Legend. Smith and Court Streets carry much of the scene, from Downtown Ale House's beer-forward crowd to Bee's Knees Provisions' more polished cocktail-and-wine approach. It's one of brownstone Brooklyn's denser, more upscale bar scenes, built around a genuine neighborhood feel rather than a tourist strip.
