Merriman Valley runs along the Cuyahoga River on Akron's southwest side, close to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and its 30 BarFinder-listed venues reflect a mixed, outdoorsy-adjacent scene - sports bars lead, but there's real variety with distilleries, a gastropub, and classic bars like The Melrose Pub and North Side Saloon.
