Westerville
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Westerville, Ohio
Westerville has an unusually ironic claim to bar-scene history: in the early 20th century it was headquarters of the Anti-Saloon League, the organization most responsible for pushing the country toward Prohibition, which earned the city the nickname 'Dry Capital of the World.' Today BarFinder lists 29 venues here, led by sports bars and classic bars, with a real brewery and winery presence that would have horrified the League's founders - names like Beerhead Bar & Eatery, Galena Brewing Company, and Vino 100 round out a scene that's anything but dry now.
