Amity
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Amity, Oregon
Amity is a small Willamette Valley town that's almost entirely about wine, not bars - BarFinder lists 26 venues here, and 24 of them are wineries. Amity Vineyards, founded in 1976 by Myron Redford, was part of the first wave of pioneering Oregon winemakers who helped establish the Willamette Valley as serious pinot noir country, and it later became the first U.S. producer of true Gamay Noir. Beyond the vineyards, outliers like Salt Creek Saloon are reminders that Amity still has at least one old-fashioned bar mixed in among the tasting rooms. It's less a nightlife destination than a wine-country day trip that happens to end with a drink.
