Beaverton

Beaverton has spent the past few years building a real bar scene of its own in the shadow of Portland, with brewpubs, cocktail bars, and even a speakeasy-style lounge clustering into downtown blocks. BarFinder lists 85 venues citywide, led by classic bars and sports bars, with a strong brewery presence (11 venues) and a notable wine bar showing too. Portland-born breweries have opened satellite taprooms here alongside homegrown spots, giving the suburb a drinking scene that finally stands on its own rather than just existing in Portland's shadow.
