Longview
Bars, breweries, and nightlife in Longview, Texas
Longview sits in the heart of the East Texas oil field, one of the largest oil discoveries in U.S. history when it hit in the early 1930s, and that roughneck heritage still shows up in local spots like the Oilwell Club. BarFinder lists 48 venues here, led by classic bars and sports bars, with a handful of nightclubs and a couple of breweries rounding things out. Local names like Champion's Lounge and The Reo Palm Isle - a long-running dance hall - give Longview's bar scene a classic East Texas, honky-tonk-adjacent feel.
