Great Northwest

Great Northwest is one of San Antonio's smaller residential areas bar-wise, with BarFinder listing 8 venues, most of them sports bars alongside a brewery and a couple of classic bars. Mad Pecker Brewing Co. & Restaurant and London Pub give the area a little variety beyond the game-day standard, while Ice On Fire Sports Bar and Homerun Deck Bar and Grill cover the rest. It's a neighborhood-bar scene through and through, not a nightlife destination. Good for a low-key night close to home on San Antonio's northwest side.
