Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City has a bar scene shaped by Utah's famously strict liquor laws - for decades, bars operated as private membership clubs, a system that's loosened significantly but still gives the city's nightlife a distinct character. BarFinder lists 237 venues here today, led by classic bars and sports bars with a genuinely strong brewery, cocktail bar, pub, and nightclub presence, including real local spots like Wasatch Brewery and The Ruin. It's a capital city whose craft beer and cocktail scene has grown well beyond its regulatory reputation.
