McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) *CUG Film Society Film Meetup*

Wednesday, Nov 4, 7:00 PM

A small-time gambler arrives in a muddy mining town with plans to build an empire out of a saloon and a brothel. He finds a smarter business partner than he bargained for in Mrs. Miller. Scored with Leonard Cohen, Robert Altman kills any trace of Western gloss by shooting the frontier with a cold, quietly sad authenticity. Stay after the movie for our Cinema Underground film society meetup to discuss the film!
