You vs the computer

Play the card game War free in your browser against the computer. Flip, high card takes both, ties go to war - choose how many decks to play through, from 1 to 4.

Decks to play through

How to play

Choose how many 52-card decks to play through: 1, 2, 3 or 4. The cards are shuffled and split evenly.
Tap Flip. When you and the computer have both flipped, your top cards are turned over.
The higher card takes both. Aces are high; suits don't matter.
Same rank? That's a war: three cards each go face down, then you both flip again - the winner takes everything on the table.
Cards you win go to your score, not back into your hand, so the game is one pass through the cards.
When the cards run out, whoever has won more cards wins the match.
